Thank you for providing useful information for me.

The UB 118 departed Bremen on 1.4.1918 and arrived at kiel on 14.4.1918 ?

I am little confused about the departure and arrival ports

Also I would like to ask if you can provide the 6 patrol dates (departure and arrival) of SM of UB 73

I think it a great opportunity

Thanks again

2. Unternehmung: 30.1-1.2.1918 von Helgoland zur Irischen See.
The two days 30.1-1.2.1918 "Unternehmung" is a mistake or called off a operation ?

Seems Bendert's book has typo. Spindler Band V, S. 56 gives patrol dates as 31.1. - 21.2.1918. Patrol ended in Bremerhaven.

yes, A. Spindler: Der Handelskrieg mit U-Booten, Bd. 5.

some more data from this book:
UB 118: 1. and 3. patrol ended in Wilhemshaven.
UB 73: 5. patrol ended in Brunsbüttel.

05.04.1918 Bremerhaven 29.04.1918 Bremerhaven von Helgoland zur Irischen See
16.06.1918 Bremerhaven 07.07.1918 Brunsbüttel von Helgoland zum Nord-Kanal

Why you are not using departure ports from german text? "Von <departure port>". Most of patrols seems to begin from Helgoland.

Heligoland is a small German archipelago in the North Sea. Not a port like Bremerhaven or Wilhelmshaven

Helgoland/Heligoland was a major base used for U-boats and light craft during WWI, and as such was quite important even though it wasnt of similar size to Wilhelmshaven, to the point the civillian population was evacuated to the mainland during WWI.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heligoland#20th_century

Up until 1890 it had been British but was ceeded to Germany in the Heligoland-Zanzibar Treaty.

Hello,

It was my mistake about Helgoland base

So the patrols of UB 118 are

But according to Bendert and Spindler all patrols ended in Wilhelmshaven.
So after the end of 1st patrol (ended in Wilhelmshaven) the UB 118 moved to Kiel to start the 2nd ?
