How trustworthy are they? Any which should be avoided? Those which are worth reading?

I am specifically thinking of Kuznetsov's Na Dalekom Meridiane, Koltsov Diaries, Baja la bandera de la Espana Republica,etc.
To include others who were advisors to the military and political apparatus of the Spanish Republic. Please include any others which are worth including or avoiding.
