British Indies Fleet June-July 1942

Does anyone know the composition of the British Indies Fleet during the June-July 1942 period? I know 3 R class battleships were at Mombasa. There was also the Warspite and 3 aircraft carriers. Anyone know how many cruisers and destroyers were attached to them or were in theater. I am wondering what the RN would have had in case the IJN decided instead of Midway to launch another raid in the Indian ocean?

During this time period, the fleet was known as the Eastern Fleet, being called the East Indies Fleet circa 1944.

The war diaries from April to June 1942 are available here:
http://www.naval-history.net/xDKWD-EF1942a.htm

Unfortunately July 1942 is not available.

However the report of proceedings for the fleet are available here:
http://www.naval-history.net/xDKWD-EF19 ... uction.htm

Going through the following reports:

10th MAY to 5th JUNE 1942
5th JUNE to 1st JULY 1942
1st JULY to 18th AUGUST 1942

should allow you to determine the composition of the fleet in the time you are looking for.
