Battleships Yamato and Musashi Online Photo Archive

Hello. I thought this would be a good place to post this.

I'm an amateur historian of Yamato and Musashi. About 8 years ago I created a website dedicated to these ships that has grown into the Internet's Yamato and Musashi archive photo gallery. Virtually every known photo of these two ships can be seen there, as well as links to a lot of other valuable resources and results of discussions I have had over the years with various Pacific War historians.

Best of all, since earlier this year, no pop up ads.

Hope you find it a useful resource. Make sure you read the page navigation instructions on the right side of the page. It can be a little tricky til you learn how the album platform operates.

Thanks Bucketfoot-Al

I've always wondered why there are so few wartime images of these two battleships..... :( .... despite being the two most powerful ships of the entire Japanese Navy

For some reason I can't access the photos.

Double clicking does nothing, and viewing the image in another window only shows the pic in its original size.

Any idea/suggestions?

These ships were kept very secret; the allies did not find some details until after the war (gun size).
