A lot of dramatic photos out there of interest.Please post any(with source) that you consider of value.

Here's one that was posted on the gunboards forum.Said to be Iwo Jima but look like Army mopping up there,or in training mode.Said not to be photoshopped but might be.

Vickers MG at Buna.

The dead Australian on the left is Corporal Charles Knight,one of the operators.

Interestingly here's the same pixie in a '43 magazine. Although cpl Knight's hand can be seen the body has been cropped out. The caption makes reference to "They just got my cobber".
