The majority of combatants were KIA captured or lost their lives in captivity. In the US Archives there are records accessable through the Internet of POWs and EM who enlisted. This includes Filipino veterans.

Obviously, they are not complete. Question: Are there files stored elsewhere, perhaps in the Philippine Islands?

Have you tried the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office http://www.pvao.mil.ph/ in Metro Manila?

Good morning Robert,

I'd also recommend you Google "Philippine Scouts" and look for their veterans' organization. I don't remember their web site name but it has/had info you're looking for,

Also the US veterans organization "Veterans of Foreign Wars" (VFW) has/had a chapter in metro Manila. See what VFW has on the web.

Hope above helps.

Warm regards,

Bob
