Maybe I missed it but I didn't find a single thread w/gc footage as the main subject... So, I'll kick things off!

All color footage, one link has some allied boys being boys and abusing a downed -109, still another seems to be various clips of one intense dog-fight in which the plane filming can't pull enough lead on the german fighter annnd all @ a couple hundred feet off the deck!

I happen to own a gun camera and thought it might be a nice addition to the thread to add some photo's.

This UK made RAF gun camera (Type G.45 - 24 volt) was mounted in the wing of the WW II fighters, like for instance the well known Hurricane and Spitfire.

They where used to film simulated attacks or indeed confirm shots on target if used operationally.
When the gun trigger was hit, the 16 MM film started to roll.
