Allied pilots shooting down all 3 Axis country aircraft

How many Allied pilots achieved the unusual feat of shooting down aircraft of all three Axis nations (Germany, Italy and Japan)?

I know of two - Gil Bright of the AVG Flying Tigers, and Colin Pinckney of 603, 243 and 67 Squadrons RAF. Are there any others?

Canadian Bob Davidson was credited with two German, two Italian and two Japanese aircraft. See http://www.canadaveteranshallofvalour.c ... sonRTP.htm. However, his two claimed victories over Japanese aircraft seem doubtful to me. Davidson was one of three Hurricane pilots to claim a Zero over Colombo, but the Japanese lost only one Zero that day and it was probably shot down by Sgt AJB Browne RAAF. 30 Squadron's pilots also collectively claimed about 15 Japanese bombers but in reality only five were lost to 30 Squadron and it's almost impossible to say if one of them fell to Davidson's guns or not.

Australia's top scoring ace, Clive Caldwell, scored against all three. His claims were:
17 German, 3 1/2 Italian and 8 Japanese. Total 28 1/2

Other Australians who achieved the trifecta were:
Wilfred Arthur - 4 German, 4 Italian and 2 Japanese. Total 10
Adrian Goldsmith - 8 German, 4 Italian, 5 Japanese. Total 17

An even more unique distinction was achieved by two Australian's, who scored against 4 Axis countries. They were:
John Jackson - 4 German, 1 Italian, 2 Vichy French, 1 Japanese. Total 8
Peter Turnbull - 3 German, 1 Italian, 5 Vichy French, 3 Japanese. Total 12

Anyy pilots scoring against more than 4? Perhaps we need to look at Soviet aces for this?

Are more interesting pilots scoring against Poles, Hungarians, Soviet, Americans and Germans? ;)

so no more than 3 Axis countries : these French pilots or crew killed by the Australians didn't belong to an "Axis country" and were certainly not members of the "Axis", but their country was invaded and occupied by the 3 Axis countries...

and especially coming from Australia who maintained until the end of the war full diplomatic relations with Petain's regime contrary to others Commonwealth countries

Hi,

New Zealander Alan McG. Peart claimed aerial victories against the Italians, Germans and Japanese.

Cheers,
