hey all,
I apologise if this is posted in the wrong section but could think of nowhere elce.
i got to thinking about operation Shock and Awe and specifically the bombing of Baghdad in 2003. my question comes down to this.
in the bombing of germany and japan you would see 1000 bombers over a city. With all the smart bombs and jet Technology how many bombers would it take to bomb a large city today? in 03 the US used the B2 bomber duringShock and Awe.
I realise that cruise missiles and other smart bombs can be deployed a long way from the Target area.
