A bit of confusion and more than a bit of indiscipline.

But 6.41 here :D Just up from the bed, checking the forum before breakfast.

Another ship:

Hint #1: not a converted merchant, but a warship built as such from the keel up.

Hmm....As I don't know warships very good (except some battleships and submarines) - can I suppose that this is a minelayer?

One of these three interpretations is correct.

Which one? :D
I was thinking at first about convoy sloops - something like British "Aubretia" or "Anchusa"-class, but they had side guns, not nose/stern guns; also their side hull shape was differ

But I believe now that this is Chilean submarine depot ship "Araucano" (1929):

Noted. People, please try to stay on topic. A minor bit of chitchat is not absolutely forbidden, but there has been a tendency to wander far afield from the main purpose of this thread lately. Keep it as strictly a question-answer format at possible, and if you don't know who is entitled to ask a question, read the rules at the beginning of the thread. If you wish to have further discussion on some topic that is part of the Equipment of the Allies & Neutral States domain, feel free to start a new thread in the main body of this section.

And the winner is BIGpanzer (who even found the source for the photo I used).

Your turn

Thanks, Davide!
Me seems that warships from minor navies are the excellent field of hard questions - especially small warships (patrol boats or mine-sweepers)
But I prefer tanks, sorry, guys  And it is hard already to find good examples for this quiz

Please, name this one on modern photo.....
Interesting, how long this tank "survives" the quiz..................Let's say 30 min.

No, The Edge!

Just compare with light tanks T-26 in Finnish service -
