SS-Gruf. Franz Hayler - parents

Postby Michael Miller on 02 Aug 2012 02:09

Need help deciphering this clipping from the Bavarian Army records of Franz Hayler, so I can ascertain the names of his parents. It appears his father, deceased on an unstated date, was a physician (Arzt). Parents' residence is given as [München-]Freimann.

With many thanks,
~ Mike

Mike,
my grandfather's name was "Max", and he signed his name exactly the same way as I read the first name in your document.
The next name reads to me as "Therese",
and her maiden name reads to me as "Roßner".
I am not sure if these are the names in the documen, though, just my take.

Hiltraut, looking closely at the handwritten entry, I believe your totally correct.
Thank you very much!
