Hello,
would anybody please translate the following text into English? I need it for the Music Section. Take your time :)
Thank you very much!

F.

Die SA-Schallplatte und der Sunnwend-Verlag
Wie auch andere Schallplattenfirmen stellten die Isi-
Werke auch Schallplatten mit politischem Inhalt her.
Dabei zeigte sich keine politische Präferenz. Es
wurden Aufnahmen sowohl für kommunistische, als
auch sozialdemokratische und nationalsozialistische
Organisationen bzw. andere Auftraggeber gemacht.
SA
erhabene und heroische Musikwerke zu schenken.
Die meisten dieser Aufnahmen wurden von einem
SA-Blasorchester unter „der persönlichen Leitung
des Komponisten“ bzw. des Bearbeiters Gustav
Groschwitz für die Electrocord Company mbH
gemacht. Zunächst erschienen die Aufnahmen in
der Electrocord-Serie mit einem Sonderetikett.
Anfang 1931 fand es dann Gustav Groschwitz
lukrativer, seine Aufnahmen unter eigener
Schallplattenmarke zu vertreiben. Dazu gründete er
im Februar 1931 den Sunnwend-Verlag und ließ
seine Schallplattenmarke „SA-Schallplatte“ und das
entsprechende Etikett im
Warenzeichenblatt eintragen (angemeldet
27.01.1931, eingetragen 20.05.1931).
Über die Änderungen beim Vertrieb der SA Schallplatten
informierten die Isi-Werke ihre Händler
Anfang März 1931 in einem Zirkular, dessen Inhalt
in einem Leitartikel der „Phonographischen
Zeitschrift“ ausführlich und aufschlußreich
kommentiert wurde. Dort erfährt man unter
anderem, daß die NSDAP, respektive Josef
Goebbels, von der „künstlerischen“ Ausführung der
Aufnahmen der „SA-Schallplatten“ nicht sehr
angetan war und deshalb deren Verwendung bei
Veranstaltungen der NSDAP verboten wurde.
Trotz dieses Verbotes wurden vom Sunnwend-
Verlag weiter Schallplatten herausgegeben. Die
Bestellnummern liefen von 6000 bis über 6100.
Später änderte sich das Etikett. So trägt die Platte
mit der Bestellnummer 6101 ein blaues Etikett mit
der Bezeichnung „NS-Record“.
Nach dem Tod von Gustav Groschwitz am
3. Februar 1933 wurde der Sunnwend-Verlag von
Otto Gaumer weitergeführt. Dieser mußte noch kurz
vor Kriegsende Anfang 1945 Konkurs anmelden.
Die Firma Sunnwend Verlag GmbH wurde dann erst
zum 20. Juni 1952 endgültig aus dem
Handelsregister gelöscht.

Like other record companies the Isi company produced records with political content. It did not show any political preference. Recordings were made for communist, social democratic and national socialist organizations, as well as for other customers. National socialist recordings were initially made from the end of 1930 at the request of the Leipzig composer and band leader Gustav Groschwitz. He was an SA- Standartenfüher who felt compelled to give the German people once again pure “Volksmusik” though his recordings and publishing activities and the NSDAP and SA sublime and heroic musical works. Most of these recordings were made under the personal direction of the composer and arranger Gustav Groswitz for the Electrocord company. At first, the recordings appeared under a special label in the Electrocord series. At the beginning of 1931 Gustav Groschwitz found it more lucrative to put out his recordings under his own label. To this end, he founded in February 1931 the Sunnwend Publishers and had his record label “SA-Records” registered as such. He applied for the label on 27.01.1931 and it was registered on 20.05.1931. The Isi company informed its dealers at the beginning of March 1931 in a circular newsletter of the changes in the production of the SA records. This circular was thoroughly discussed in a lead article in the “Phonographic News.” In this article, it was said that “SA Records” recordings did not appeal to the NSDAP, or rather Josef Goebbels, and so their use at NSDAP events was prohibited. Despite this ban, additional records were made by Sunnwend. The serial numbers of these recordings ran to 6100. Later, the label was changed so that the records with a serial number starting at 6101 had a blue label with the title “NS-Record.” Following the death of Gustav Groswitz on 3 February 1933 Sunnwend was headed by Otto Gaumer. He had to declare bankruptcy in April 1945 shortly before the end of the war. The company was finally removed from the business directory on 20. June 1952.
