Hello
Does anyone have a glossary of railway terms from German to English and while we are about it Russian to English?

Am translating a German railway book and the technical terms such as "abgebordete" are hard to find.

When I was researching "Kriegsprache," I discovered that quite a few words used in the 30s and 40s aren't used quite the same today, so you'll have some issues. I looked it up in Kriegsprache, and I didn't have it.

I know there are terms in Kriegsprache that would help you, but I don't know how valuable it would be for railroad work.

For the next edition keep in mind that proper German would be "Kriegssprache" not "Kriegsprache"

I have found this Lexicon of Transport terms but again it does not have many of the terms from the 1930s and 40s.

What does this mean as my translation does not seem to make any sense?

6. Die Umspurung der Breitspurlok ist im Bereich des FEKdo 5 kaum möglich und unwirtschaftlich. Für die Umspurung wird folgende Reihenfolge vorgeschlagen:

It lists them in the sequence of their importance. The writer suggests the gauge conversion in this sequence.

What context is it in? Tighina is a town in Moldova, now called Bender. It's on a major railway, BTW.
