I am not able to read everything and I am not sure at all, but I think that it must be a letter to his sisters. (Geschwesteren)
He said that he survive the airattack on Stuttgart and that he hopes that they are in good health.
For the rest, nothing special I Think.
Regards
Prosper

The old question: What do YOU consider special?
Prosper, August doesn´t survive an air raid because he´s sitting in Italy. He´s asking his sisters how they endured the air raid in Stuttgart. Everything fine readable, nice handwriting that guy had.

Hi,
I consider special ANY information other than i miss you, i love you, or what's the weather in Sttugart...
Thanks for your comment and how did you found that Mr.Dachtler was in Italy....?
And finally, when you said that " Everything fine readable, nice handwriting that guy had" this is what I call something special to me,
Thanks again,
Frank.

Sorry but I couldn't read it before you was notified it.
Yes, just before the date (above) I am able to read now "Italien"
and I read also his name (below) = August.

Italien, den 13.März 1944
Meine lieben Schwestern!

Was
I didn´t find a city with the name Lussa in Italy just Lusia (with 3600 inhabitants) and
Lucca (with 89000 inhabitants). Guess he meant the latter.
Also I couldn´t find the kind of overcoat which he bought for himself called "Guggertin".

Cheers,
Roman

PS.: For improved readability I corrected the punctuation marks and orthography.
