Help with an Ia report

#1

Post by james37 » 07 Apr 2015, 18:58

Hello !

I have some problems to understand an Ia report of 14. Armee. The structure is:

on the left
1.) = KR
2.) = SSD

on the right
1.) O.B. Sudwest
2.) nachr= 90. Pz.Gren.Div. (nur Ziffer a)

And after these abbreviations there is the description of what happened that day.

I understand that the meaning is : the 14. Armee compiled the report to inform the HQ of O.B. Sudwest and 90. Pz.Gren.Div. of what happened.

But I don't understand why there is also the Kavalerie Regiment and the Sicherheitsdienst des Reichsführers-SS (SSD ?? ). I don't understand also why on the left there is "=" and on the right only the names. Does it mean something ?

Thanks !!

SSD will not indicate SD-RFSS.
SSD probably means "Sehr sehr dringend" (Very very urgent).
This is a common abbreviation used in German radio nessages.
