This is a copy of the leaflet that was dropped into Denmark at the time of the German invasion on 9th April 1940. I have been told it is difficult to translate because it is combination of poor German, Danish and Norwegian! It was too much for my translator software which usually gives me at least a pretty clear idea of what is being said. I do realise it is rather long and would appreciate any help at all. If there is a problem reading the document please let me know.

Re: Help with Translation please..
Attention! To the soldiers and the people of Denmark!.
Without reason and against the german government and the german peoples wish to live in peace and friendship with the english and the french people, have the English and the French (Magthavere = the people who have power) in september last year declared war on germany.
Their intent was and is to make decisions of (Krigsskuepladser = battle fields) that lies (afsides = away from people and house) and therefore are less dangerous for France and England. Their hope is that it wont be possible for Germany to be strong enough against them.
Of this reason, amongst other, England has violated Denmarks and Norways neutrality and their territorial waters.
They tried to make Skandinavia a theatre of war\battle field. When a good opportunity did not seem to come after the russian-finnish peace it has now been officially declared and threatened to no longer tolerate the german fleet of commerce within the danish territorial waters by the north sea and in the norwegian terrirotial waters. They (we) declared to take control of the watch of the police. They (we) have made all the preperations for a suprise campture of all necessery strategic points (backup points) by the coast of Norway. The biggest (hard word to translate: "A man who does war"), who in the first world war was a misfortune for all human kind Churchill, said in a tense way that he was not willing to let him be held back by legal decissions eller neutral rights written on pieces of paper. He has prepared the battle against the danish and the norwegian coast. A few days ago he was appointed chief for the entire british war efforts.

I translated the last photo for you. It is a bit hard to translate because of how the sentences are build up. I hope my translation helps you. All of your photos are in Danish. I can translate the rest maybe tomorrow if you like.

Re: Help with Translation please..
I will try the last one (picture number 2). The first word "OPPROP!" i translated to attention. The exact translation is "callout". I will try to translate word for word without making too many changes in the sentences. If you want an easy and understandable translation it will take some time as i will have to rewrite much of it.
The german government has until now watched this mans preperations (this man = Churchill), but it cannot stand that a new field of battle will arise at the behest of the english-french (Krigsdrivere = those who do war) wishes. The danish and norwegian governments have for months known about these attempts. Likewise is their attitude to the question no secret to the german government. They are neither willing nor capable to resist the english break-in. For this reason germany have decided to anticipate the english attack and with their means of power take over the protection of the danish and norwegian neutrality and to protect it for as long as the war will last. It is not the german governments intent to get a stronghold in the fight against england, but exclusively the goal to prevent Scandinavia from becoming a battle field for the english war expansions.
For this reason strong german military powers have since this morning taken posession of the most important military objects in denmark and in norway. Over these precautions agreements are now being made between the german government and the royal danish government. These precautions will secure the future of the kingdom, that the army and the navy will be kept, that the danish people freedom will be kept, and that this country`s future independence is fully secured. Until these negotiations are concluded we ask that the army and navy show understandment for this, likewise that the people and all public (communal) places are reasonable and show good will and fail any passive or active resistance. It would be useless and broken down with any means of power. All military and public (communal) places are urged to soon connect with the german commanders. The people are urged to continiue their daily work and to maintain peace and order. The safety of the country against english abuse will be kept by the german army and navy.
