Translation Help
Could anyone tell me what does it exactly says?
Also is the "comrade" - singular or plural? If plural, what would be the singular form of the sentence?
Thank you!

Ostern 1950 in

As it says “Meinem .. Kameraden”, it is the singular form (Dativ, I think).

Re: Translation Help
When I compare the "Welt = world" with the "Wie" as claimed by Hiltraut I doubt that this is correct. Looks rather like "Nie = never", in my opinion.
Re: Translation Help
Roman, I think you are absolutely correct! Also, it would make much more sense!
So I correct my transcription from "Wie geht die Sonne...." to "Nie geht die Sonne...".

Re: Translation Help
Hiltraut,
I took the time to search for this slogan and low and behold this is what came up:
"Uns geht die Sonne nicht unter. Lieder der Hitler-Jugend.= The sun will not set/ disappear for us. Songs of the Hitlerjugend"

If the writer meant this slogan?
Regards,
Roman
