Has somebody some kinde of list of the men that served in the SS-K.B.-Zug of the SS-Division "Wiking"? I'm especially looking of the foreign SS-Kriegsberichter. And who where the Zugführern?

And does somebody have someting on a SS-Obersturmführer Gössling, he would be responsible of the Germanic SS-Kriegsbericher?

There was also the Dane, Kristian Zarp, from February 1943 to March 1944 and possibly again in 1945.

Michael, I can report that Jobst Gösling commanded the KB Zug of the Nord KG/Div. during 1941-42. Later, in 1943-44 he commanded the KB Zug with the Latvian 15. WGD, and was promoted to Hstuf. on June 21, 1944. I was unaware of his association with the Germanic volunteers, but I'm always learning more about these reporters, so thanks for that.

As to foreigner SS-PK manner, one who comes to mind immediately is Bildberichter Cornelius Kok, who was assigned to the Bataillon Narwa during 1943. I has long believed he was Estonian, but he was in fact a Dutchman, born in New York City! He was captured by the Soviets, and only returned to the Netherlands many years after the end of the war.

From Norway, Per Imerslund was with Wiking during 1941-42, but was not officially assigned to the KB Zug. He was a famous writer in Norway, and was later fatally wounded in Finland with the Nord Division. Imerslund was "professionally discontent," as in, he was always upset about something, and causing a fuss. George Stein quotes one of his letters in his book "The Waffen-SS" under the mistaken belief that Imerslund was an ordinary volunteer, and not someone seeking to shake up the German SS Leadership and the Norwegian collaboration government.

According to Erik Norling's article in Siegrunen #53, some Norwegians who spent time with Wiking's KB Zug included Mandrup Rokne, Fritz Ihlen, Oswald C. Olsen, and Olav Nakken.

This material is from my personal list (posted by me to Feldgrau some years ago), and I'm working now on a much expanded list. I'll share the details eventually, but it is still a work in progress at this point.
