Can anyone give me some history and function, on Polizei-Rgt. 1 and where it was stationed in June and August 1943 thanx Monte

Hello Monte

In this period was the resolution of the regiment .

The I. and III. Battalion of the SS-Pol.Rgt. 1 came to France in spring 1943. There was the realignment of the SS-Pol.Rgt. 14 used. The II. Battalion SS-Pol.Rgt. 1 was in July 1943, establishing the I./SS-Pol.Schtz.Rgt. 36 used.
