Documentation I have lists Bolle without the umlaut:

It is now known exactly when KK Friedrich (Fritz) Bolle replaced Gottlieb Höhmann as Leiter, Stapo ADS Krefeld. The first mention of him in position is dated 16 Sept 1938.
Bolle “stammte aus einer Beamtenfamilie und hatte sein Abitur in Berlin gemacht. Dem Schulabschluss vorausgegangen war ein halbjähriges Intermezzo als Freiwilliger im Freikorps Märker. Nach dem Abitur arbeitete er zunächst bei einer Bank, fing dann aber doch noch ein Jura-Studium an, das er nach sechs Semestern wieder aufgab.
“In Bielefeld fand er einen Posten bei der Polizei als KKanwärter. Diesmal gelang die Abschlussprüfung und es folgte eine Anstellung bei der Polizei in Berlin. Im April 1933 trat Friedrich Bolle der NSDAP bei. 1934 machte er dann doch noch den Sprung ins Ministerium des Innern, wo schon sein Vater gearbeitet hatte. Im gleichen Jahr wurde er dem Gestapa zugeordnet. Von Berlin ging es allerdings dann wieder in die Provinz, zur Staatspolizei in Stettin, wahrscheinlich in eine Aussenstelle in Stralsund. Im Mai 1937 wurde Friedrich Bolle Mitglied der SS.”

Nov 1939, appointed leiter Stapo ADS Duisburg
1940, married a much younger woman from Krefeld “bester Familie”
1942/1943, with Sipo and SD in France

from Jan 1944, SS-Hstuf KR Bolle was Leiter IV/KdS Toulouse.
in late 1944, after the retreat to Strasbourg the KdS Toulouse personnel became a zbV Kommando and Bolle led this unit to Denmark. “Most of the men were there posted to Aarhus, whilst Bolle himself became Sipo-Aussenstellenleiter Aalborg.”

Bolle also appears in CROWCASS List No. 42 as wanted by France for crimes in Toulouse.

The front page of Bolle's SSO posted above by Albert S shows a few problems in his career.
On 10 July 1934 Bolle promoted KK and from Nov 1934 with Gestapa Berlin. He later has Gestapo service in Stralsund, Düsseldorf, Krefeld and Duisburg.
He joined the SS on 1 Oct 1936 (SSO) but is not commissioned until nine years and eleven months later to the day. Then has accelerated promotion through Ostuf to Hstuf - because in Dec 1942 he was promoted Kriminalrat (another delay in that promotion - 12 years). Was this guy a late developer?
I see from this source: Ingrid Schupetta, "Die Geheime Staatspolizei in Krefeld – von Polizisten und Schreibtischtätern", publ. Der Heimat, Jg. 76/2005, pp 115-127, that Bolle married into the "bester Familie" in Krefeld. Maybe his father-in-law had influence.
