Does anyone know who succeeded him as Divisions-Intendant within SS-Gebirgsdivision "Nord" when he was transfered to Hohenstaufen ?

According to Thöle's SSO file he was transferred from "Nord" to "Hohenstaufen" as Intendant on 15. 1.43. According to the SSO file of Stubaf. Fritz Wedell, he was transferred from "Hohenstaufen" to "Nord" as Intendant on 1.12.43. I do not know who was the "Nord" Intendant for those other 11 months of 1943.

Thanks a lot, John. This gap between 15.1.43 and 1.12.43 is hard to fill as I really don't know who could have been posted as Div.IVa during this period. Maybe SS-Hstuf. Ernst Jahnke ?

I have a certain SS-Hstuf. Hans Augustin in my files for 15.1.43, but haven´t checked him in detail…

Maybe the missing one?

I checked the SSO file of Hans Augustin. Multiple documents confirm that he was the Intendant of "Nord" from 15.1.43 to 10.12.43 when he was transferred to the "GvB" as division Intendant. There is period of 9 days in December 1943 when "Nord" had two Intendants according to the files of Augustin and Wedell.

About Hans Augustin
He was according to his SSO Div. Intendant in 1943, he later the same year became Kdr of the SS-Wi.Abt.17 in GvB.

I attach a photo from his RuSHA file, all of his assignment (20 in total) in my forthcoming book "Führer der SS u Waffen-SS Vol.1 (A)"
