Report from 13.7.1943. I regret that some names may be difficult to read for those of you who have smaller computer screens.

John, page II.SS-Pz.Korps---10.7.43a.jpg shows the mysterious Ustuf. Heinz Schulze again. Veterans recall him and his transfer from 2./AA to 1./AA is mentioned in the KTB but there isn't a trace of an officers file in the BDC/BA-MA/NARA.

Thanks to Timo's comments the issue of Schulze/Schultze was resolved here:

Also, as I mentioned earlier there are many spelling errors in these I.SS-Panzer Korps reports from 1943.

John!

First of all I want to thank you for a great job you make posting these documents. But you really made my day with that new one!

It seems, that you solved a mystery of famous Sd.Kfz.251/5 '104 Kirschke' of I./SS-PzArtRgt 2 that was photographed first in southern France and later in Normandy as a wreck. Subject was discussed several times on ml forum:

http://www.network54.com/Forum/47207/thread/1099761314/
http://www.network54.com/Forum/47207/thread/1022679023/

So, Kirschke was a fallen hero from Kursk battle!

Do you have any additional informations concerning him?

Another mysterius name painted on the other Sd.Kfz.251 is 'Erich Go...'. Unfortunately only a part of his last name is visible. Most probably another dead comrade. Do you know any name of SS-PzArtRgt 2 oficer that could fit there?

Thank You in advance, regards

The report from 29.7.1943 shows a big increase in casualties, mostly from the "Totenkopf" Division.
