Does anyone know if this officer was promoted Oberführer , if so what was the rank date

Phil - Binge's highest rank appears to be SS-Standartenführer for the following two reasons:

1. No promotion to SS-Oberführer indicated in his Personalakte.

2. His death notice in the September 1982 "Der Freiwillige" lists his rank as SS-Standartenführer and that information came from the "GvB" vet association.
