I believe I have another name for you:

SS-Obersturmführer Hans Bastians -- Himmler's chauffer who commited suicide in 1941. I am not sure if this is the same as the Joseph Bastian you have listed above?

I applaud your research, I myself though find the SS-Begleitkommando boys far more interesting than the RSD guys. The SSBK boys had better stories to tell !!!

Do you have any information on Bastians please? Was he SSBK or RSD? I thought he accidentally shot himself whilst playing around with his gun instead of suicide.

This is not a fake.It has been found in the bunker's mess.The signatures are truly authentic.The rank has nothing to do with it.AH signed a lot of nominations ,even school directors ones,and a lot of pictures,before the rock stars period....the signatures are fountain pen made.Sometimes they used printed signatures(fac similes)but those are hand made.I have also a lot of pictures taken by soldiers around this period,plans,books with AH ex libris,some of his stationery,etc.Same origin.You could be surprised by the historical treasures found in Berlin in May 45.

All those documents have been seen by specialists.They are absolutely genuine.

I must admit, the Oppelt document signatures do look real, but I'd prefer a closer look. However, the same cannot be said for the Hitler signature on his portrait. In my opinion, that is a stone bonker 100% forgery.

It has been one year since I posted the list of RSD Officers. I am currently working on a book regarding the History of the RSD and it's Officers. If there is anyone who can provide any information and/or photos it would be most appreciated and credit will be given in my book upon publication. Very little has been written on the RSD espacially it's Personnel so I am hoping to help fill the gap in SS reseach with this project.

Alois Zitzelberger (sic) was not an SS-Officer (or at least he did not claims to be) but an SS-Sturmscharführer and Kriminalsekretär, and with the RSD in 1945.

What is the source that he commited suicide? According to his very big file at Bundesarchive (SSO) was he killed in an accident (Verungglückt)
