Does anyone have any info about singer Rolf Sandor? (Possibly of Hungarian descent, in which case the surname is spelled Sándor.)

He sang Schlager and military songs (mostly political).

Also, was he really an SS member, as he was sometimes credited on record labels?

Or was his SS membership in fact simply made up to spice up his political recordings?

Any info is most welcome.

Cheers,
Ivan

I would like to "second" Ivan's question here. Rolf Sandor is credited with many recordings not all of which are political or NS. He also has credits as "SS-Mann." Surely, someone must have information on Sandor?
