Die Generale der Waffen-SS und der Polizei. Volume 3

Postby Dieter Zinke on 13 Jun 2007 13:24

Tomorrow I will receive the hard copy for the very last corrections.

The third volume will again contain over 700 pages.
We have such a fullness of data, corrections and supplements that we only are able to present the bios from "Lammerding" to "Plesch".
This foiled our primordial designation to present the bios until "Ruskay".

"Podzun" - "S ..... " will follow as soon as possible in the next (fourth) volume until spring 2008.

The third volume implies also three new candidates:
Lothar Danner, Dr. Paul Walther Grunewald and Gustav Kleinow.
The follwing bios, now complitely revised and perfected, will be in an addendum (more then 180 pages):
Josef Albert, Paul Bernaschek, Adolf von Bomhard, Werner Bracht (no longer a "Dr."), Richard Buban, Christoph Diehm, Otto Dillenburger, Josef Fornoni, Paul Fromm, Lothar Geibel, Waldemar Geyer, Kurt Göhrum, Walter Goldbach, Erik Paul Anno von Heimburg, Maximilian Himmelstoß, Konrad Hitschler, Emil Höring, Sigmund Freiherr von Imhoff, Dr. med. Viktor Jüttner and Rudolf Kade.

As far as I know you contacted the editor directly and had the chance to make your complaints, this should be your operational procedure in the future too (... and - please - not here in the forum !!)

Next week I will present the very last corrected layout in Osnabrück directly to prepare the printing.

It' s now very easy to confirm an order for all books of Biblio-Verlag with the link
http://reprint-biblio.de/

And the union catalogue (Gesamtkatalog) of Biblio-Verlag is here

My apologies. I thought an author would want to assist his publisher making contact with book sellers who wish to sell his titles, and who have sold them in the past. I buy many books from Bob Ruman of "Articles of War" as he has sold Biblio Verlag books for many years. He hasn't received a reply in months (numerous contact attempts) nor received a long past due shippment. A FAX from the USA is not accepted, this is per Mr. Ruman who has tried three times. Yes, I received an e-mail from Biblio Verlag and replied, asking them to contact him and providing address information. As yet no response. You'll see many have a similar problem in the reference section of the forum.

My post was NOT a complaint, it was asking for a solution to the obvious technical problems encountered by those in the USA trying to contact your publisher, most importantly book sellers. I've written enough books to know most people can't or won't buy them unless a book seller in their own country has them available.

You received my PM, but here my advice for clientele in foreign countries:

Direct contact to Biblio-Verlag via mail or new internet-address (see my former post here in the sticky).
The fax modus often works mistakenly.
...and please - impossibilities will be executed immediately, miracles require a little bit more time.
And finally:
If your friends in the U.S.A. will follow these directives precisely and with friendly patience they will receive their books as soon as possible without any doubt.

Vorankündigung! Deutschlands Generale und Admirale. Band 3: L-PL (Lammerdingl-Plesch)

Click on “Details

You will find:

Schulz, Andreas / Zinke, Dieter.

Teil V: Band 3: L-PL (Lammerding - Plesch).
Format 24x17 cm. Osnabrück 1988 ff.
XI, 725 Seiten mit zahlreichen Porträts,
Bissendorf 2007.

ISBN 3-7648-2375-5. € 86,00

It is a thing of beauty. I've never seen such a meticulous and comprehensive study of the topic. The previous two volumes were awe-inspiring. This one is doubly awe-inspiring. What these two men have accomplished is really beyond words, so I'll stop now.

Thanks so much, AnDie and Dr. Z (and Wolfram Zeller, of course) for the copy of your magnificent work.

Sincerely,
~ Mike
