do you already know this color-pic of Oswald Pohl? He´s an accused, may be in Landsberg? I think he is using a kind of camouflage-jacket in Splinter-Tarn or similar.
Have a nice time, Thorolf

I think this is a well known black and white photo which has been colourized.

Are you sure, Max? I thought it was originally colored. Would you perhaps give me the origin or source, where I can find it?
Thanks a lot and cheers, Thorolf

I'm pretty sure this is a close-up of Pohl edited from a larger photo and that is why it is not so sharp. If you look closely at the colours, they do not appear natural. The original black and white image has been in several books I believe (I've seen it somewhere) but I'll have to search for it unless someone else can post it.

Hi there Max!
It took me a few days, but I could find the original picture in my archive.
It was taken in Nürnberg while the IMT was on the run by Mr. Ray D'Addario (and not in Landsberg, as I thought first...), who was a photographer for the US-Army. He made pictures mostly in color, only a few in black-and-white.
The original pic shows on the left-hand-side the Standartenführer Joseph Vogt aswell as Oswald Pohl on the right side. There were 16 men, mostly government officials from the Wirtschafts-und Verwaltungshauptamtes der SS, accused in the "Pohl-Prozeß".
Vogt was acquited of his responebility. Oswald Pohl received death penalty. He was killed in 1951!
Cheers, Thorolf
P.S.: do you know this pic from Oswald Pohl?

Yes, it's very well known. Left to right: Glücks, Frank, Pohl, Lörner, Kammler.
I'm still sure the close-up of Pohl is a black and white photo which has been colorized. It's in a book, but I can't find it. You are right about it being an edited part of a larger photo.
Max.

do you know this pic from Oswald Pohl?
According to me it´s a quite well known photo of him.
Plavá bestie.

P.S.: By the way - anyone know, what kind of award ( note white cross ) wears that SS-Brigadeführer, first from right? I saw this award also on K. H. Frank or Bruno Streckenbach.

Kammler wears the
Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse des Ehrenzeichens vom Deutschen Roten Kreuz

K. H. Frank had another award:
Ehrenzeichen für Deutsche Volkspflege 2. Stufe

but Streckenbach did not wear them. He had an award a little bit resembling
Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker 1. Klasse in Silber

Does anyone know anyone else on this picture?
Photo shows Netherlandish NSB leader Anton Mussert with his wife, Arthur Seyß-Inquart, unknown SS-Obersturmbannführer and Heinrich Himmler.

These are very well known pictures that have been in numerous books. The photo from Dachau is one of a series taken during the visit of Mussert to Dachau.

Hi there Max!
I´ve just found a book with this colored photograph of Oswald Pohl in. It is called "Sieger-Tribunal" and was edited by Richard Lobsien. There are many pics of the IMT in Nürnberg in this book, many of them in color.
Cheers, Thorolf

Could it be that the man behind Mussert is Seyss-Inquart?
Greetings Jack.
