thanks for highly interesting documents which give a new light on KdS organisation in France. I had the following infos :
KdS Nancy 58bis bld Albert 1er area : Region Lorraine without Moselle (former Zivilverwaltung Lothringen)
SS Hstuf Ellisen
SS Stubaf Schmaling
KdS Chalons sur Marne 7 cours d'Ormesson area : Region Champagne
SS Hstuf Graf von Korff
SS Stubaf Dr Ludtcke
Anybody has date of command von Korff (after Schmaling)

Georges

The SS-Stubaf who signed the two documents above was SS-Stubaf Franz Hoth, who was KdS Nancy Nov 1943-Oct 1944: "He remained there until the liberation of France, when he withdrew his unit to Alsace. Here the unit was renamed z.b.V. Kdo. 29...[and] sent to Slovakia...to
cover the town and district of Bratislava."

Great answer ! Thanks for the identification.
But what was the position of Schmaling at KdS Nancy ? Was he in charge of office IV Gestapo ?
Same with KdS Lyon Staf Werner Knabe and Hau'stuf Klaus Barbie as chief of IV?

General interrogation of Hoth in Akershus Prison, Oslo, 20 March 1946; and a second specific interrogation "BdS Paris and KdS Nancy 1943/44" dated 22 March 1946.

Just to dwell on Hoth in France, he states that he was sent to France in June 1943, "to BdS Paris and was attached to various Sipo units at Paris, Rennes and Toulouse in order to obtain a clearer understanding of Sipo work in France."

May-June 1943 (two weeks) with BdS Paris
June-July 1943 (5-6 weeks) with KdS Rennes (SS-Ostubaf Pullmer)
Aug-Oct 1943 (6-8 weeks) with KdS Toulouse (SS-Ostubaf Bilfinger)
Oct 1943, KdS Nancy

Interesting in that context:
[link] von Korff in the news a few years ago. Note that this is indeed the same von Korff (they are a large family).
Ex-Nazi's Aquittal Upheld
(AP) Published: December 1, 1990, New York Times

A top-level German court today upheld the aquittal of a former Nazi Gestapo chief accused of complicity in the murder of French Jews sent to the Auschwitz death camp. The Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe affirmed a lower tribunal's ruling that Count Modest von Korff, now 81 years old, did not know the reason for the deportations. The court is the highest criminal appeals panel in Germany.
