Hello trekker,
maybe is here some link...
"Les interrogatoires renforcés , pour reprendre la terminologie des nazis, avaient lieu à quelques dizaines de mètres de là. L'équipe du lieutenant Rudolf Kunesh où sévissait le boxeur Anton Enzelsberger opérait dans la belle bâtisse qui abrite aujourd'hui un organisme HLM. Parfois, les tortures se déroulaient dans une serre à l'épais vitrage située au fond de la cour.

Hello,
there is some mentions of Kunesch in the Book: Hubert de Beaufort: Le Livre Blanc
link: http://livreblanc.maurice-papon.net/chap1-suite.htm
La section IV était structurée ainsi :
Directeur de la section IV (Gestapo) : Friedrich Dohse.
- Sous-section A, (terrorisme et communistes) : secrétaire criminel Röding.
- Sous-section B, (résistance gaulliste, maquis, parachutages) : secrétaire criminel Kunesch.
regards
Darko

Re: Info on some SS-officers ( part I )
Thank you, Darko!
I have checked several French books on Kunesch from Bordeaux but I have found a confirmation that he had been in Untersteiermark/Štajerska before having come to France in Arhiv Slovenije. I remember that in one French book it was mentioned that Kunesch killed himself at the end of the war but there was no source of the information printed and I have also read elsewhere that he survived the war.

Re: Info on some SS-officers ( part I )
Fritz Schönrock (*27.03.1896 Knarrhütte), in 10.1933 from Polizeipräsidium Berlin to Gestapa, in 06.1935 Kriminalassistent
in 09.1944 promotion of a unknown KK a.Pr./SS-Ustuf Schönrock (Kripo Innsbruck) to KK
Are they the same man?
Regards Puck
Re: Info on some SS-officers ( part I )
Yes, Puck, all your entries relate to Fritz Schönrock.
His promotion to KK in BBL 35/44 (2 Sept 1944) probably means he finished his KK-Lehrgang in early 1944.
