Heinrich Bräcker.
Born on 25-11-1915 in ??
Member SS(nr. 391.878).
He got promoted to SS-Hauptsturmführer on 30-1-1944.
In July 1944 he was commander from 7. Kompanie with II. Abteilung from the
SS-Panzer-Regiment 12 within 12. SS-Panzer-Division ‘Hitlerjugend’.

Who can tell me more about this officer, my search didn't tell me anything more....Especially looking for his place of birth and his partynumber if he had one....

Isn't he - as too many others - buried in La Cambe, Normandy? I think I saw his grave there. Too bad I did not take a photo back then.

Hello Hugo,

Thanks for the info, although I could have found some of it by myself. Normally I check the VDK-site when it concerns a Waffen-SS officer but I forgot it this time.
But he's there, I just checked.
Nachname: Bräcker
Vorname: Heinrich
Dienstgrad: Hauptsturmführer
Geburtsdatum: 25.11.1915
Geburtsort:
Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 13.07.1944
Todes-/Vermisstenort:

And here's the answer for Panzerass.
Heinrich Bräcker ruht auf der Kriegsgräberstätte in Champigny-St. Andre (Frankreich) .
Endgrablage: Block 9 Reihe 6 Grab 341

Greetings,
Mike

Some months ago I found, on the forum of a german site about WW2,the organization chart of the 12th SS Panzer Regiment, with a small pic for every company commander except Bracker and Buettner, but the one of Bando was there. It was a small pics, the only thing that I remember about him is that he was blond (if I remember well!)
Hope that could this be useful for you,Panzerass,if you want to see a pic of Bando;I'm sorry that I don't remember the name or how I found it.

I think I know the one. Yes - and that's the only table that presents a photo of Berlin and of Bando. Not sure who made the table overview and where I found it either. But I have it on my hard-drive, too.
