Re: Kurt Daluege photos...
Andrey,
This picture appeared in an illustrated magazine at the time. Can't remember the caption unfortunately as I only had the cut out paper photo stuck to a sheet.

Max,
I'm sure that this photo is directly related to the Olympic Games in Berlin 1936.
Particularly unusual look two SS-Officers in overalls (?) with cuff titles...

Re: Kurt Daluege photos...
Couple of pictures from Die Großen Militärparaden des Dritten Reiches by Arndt.
The pictures are actually smaller parts of larger pictures over several pages. Sadly I can't get the entire photos on my scanner so there are missing personalities cut off. But as it's Daleuge we are after I hope it doesn't matter.
In pic 1, you'll notice Fedor von Bock, Heydrich and Daluege.
In pic 2 Kaltenbrunner and Daluege.

The SS guy to the right has "driver" cuff titles. And Daluege and Dietrich are wearing some kind of racedriver dress I would say. Some kind of SS/Police driving event I bet.Andrey wrote:One new Kurt Daluege with Josef Dietrich photo.

I think you are right. The white suits are reminiscent of the racing driver suits worn at the time. More likely than Olympic connection.Frankfurter wrote:The SS guy to the right has "driver" cuff titles. And Daluege and Dietrich are wearing some kind of racedriver dress I would say. Thanks for the time frame, Georges! This confirms that Hstuf. is Heinz Liedtke. First I thought that my eyes have failed me.

Yes, that makes more sense. Taken in 1934 and not 1936. I'm pretty sure Andrey's photo appeared in something like the Illustrierte Beobachter, or something similar.

I keep thinking these photos of the police take-over in Wien after the Anschluss have appeared here before.Kameraden wrote:Couple of pictures from Die Großen Militärparaden des Dritten Reiches by Arndt.

The website quoted by Kameraden for the source of one of his posted photos is allegedly a neo-Nazi site which has uploaded numerous images without the permission of the owners or those holding reproduction rights. I request the moderators delete any references to this site on AHF.
Thank you.

Re: Kurt Daluege photos...
Apologies if that is the case. I had no idea. My original pictures are scanned from my book, but as spread over a couple of pages were too big to scan. I did a google search to try and find the same event and found the wikipedia pages and the one that you have deleted from that site. Again i had no idea so apologise.
