Who knows more about this person???

Heinrich Gottschling.
SS-Hauptsturmführer and Kriminalkommissar der Polizei.
Apparently working for the Gestapo, can't find anything more about him.
Who knows more about this person???

Gottschling served in EK 2/I during Polish Campaign.
In 1940 he worked in KdS Krakau.

HEINRICH GOTTSCHLING(1909-1947)
Gottschling joined NSDAP in 1937.ss hauptsturmfuhrer he served in the Gestapo at Cracow 1940,Head of the Olomouc Gestapo 1940-42 then Brno,Prague and Kladno.From 1944 he was in the Tabor Gestapo.Tried by a Czech court in Kutna Hora he was sentenced to death.On 5th may 1945 in Havlick Brode he shot and killed two persons.He was executed in Kutna Hora on 13th april 1947.

But are you sure he joined the party in 1937???
I mean, he has such a low party-number(641.758)that I find it hard to believe he joined up in 1937 and not before...

The information you might need or want is in Na Struze Archive in Prague.As he served in Czechoslovakia they have lots of information on his activities there and at least one photograph i have seen.

You could also search for his SSO and RuSHA files in BDC or NARA.
He was an SS member so he should have those.

According to his SS personnel file he joined NSDAP on 01.10.1931 and SS on 01.11.1931.
