I need info about SS-Hstuf. Eisse de Vries - DOB and DOD, SS-Nr., career, awards.
I only know he was SS-Ostuf. and Kdr. 9./SS-Art.Rgt. "Reich", wounded during Elnja fight - 7.1941.

Some of de Vries' private photos and documents came into the possession of Thomas Fischer (or perhaps it was simply copies of this material). So you can see and read about de Vries in Fischer's books such SS-PAR 1 on All Fronts and Soldiers of the Leibstandarte (I have never seen a copy of Vom Berlin bis Caen, Fischer's 2nd book about SS-PAR 1).
