Who know this SS-Oberführer? Pic was made 10.8.1944 during “trial” Fritz-Dietlof Graf von der Schulenburg.

Hi,
There is another unknown SS officer (SS-Obersturmbannführer).
Who is he?
Nazi officials and female guests at Adolf Hitler's mountain retreat in Berchtesgaden, Germany.

Berchtesgaden pic,
I wonder if SS-Ostubaf. Frank, who was to have held in custody H. Göring.
Pretty sure a book about him has been published.

Hello Harmel,
Thank you very much, have found him. Yes, if he hold Göring in custody it's Dr. Bernhard Frank. I've written down his promotion to SS-Ostubaf. for 1944 but have no precise date. And yes, he wrote down all his activities at the Obersalzberg and all events that took place there in a book called 'Hitler, Göring and the Obersalzberg'. So maybe the picture comes from that book, it's for sure a very clear one.....

Greetings, Mike

I had the good fortune to visit Frank's old house in Wewelsburg on numerous occasions as it was occupied by my old good friend and historian, the late Stuart Russell. Several times we sat up late in the living room and tried to imagine everyday life in the Frank household.

The video shows that Dr. Frank signed under Himmler's name on the order for the execution of the Jews. He was very close to Himmler.
