According to what I have found, he fell near Brody on 22.Juli 1944.
It seems he had belongend to 14.Waffengrenadierdivision, does anybody knows which function he had there?

Just received answer by DRK Suchdienst in München that they cannot give me any answer as I am not related to Wiele....Datenschuz, with a person KIA 65 years ago :roll:

In Fürbringer's faboulus Heimdal-Volume on the 'Hohenstaufen' there is on p.178 a picute of him, stating he was Divisionsveterinär and Chef of the Schlächtereikompanie of the Division
