SS raid in Vienna March 1938
Does anyone know which SS unit was involved in the below pictured raid in Vienna March 1938 (SS-Razzia bei jüdischer Gemeinde)? Photos from Bundesarchiv.
Thanks.

pic 5 and pic 6 : Adolf Eichmann, Herbert Hagen and Dr Löwenherz
Re: SS raid in Vienna March 1938
I believe the question of Eichmann's presence in these pictures has been debated here before. Jerome, which one do you think is Eichmann? The officer standing or sitting?

I refer to Hans Safrian "Eichmann und seine Gehilfen" an authorized book upon action of Eichmann staff during the war.
in pic 5 which show the same scene the man standing is Herbert Hagen

I agree with Hagen, but that is not Eichmann seated. His rank is not correct.

Who is the man in the center of the portfolio - the man foreground in the pic that has the woman to the left and the man behind tipping his cap? I noticed he is wearing a badge of distinction (not Coburg, but the other one, which I can't remember, discussed in another thread)...anyone know?

the Feldgrau men seems to be SS-VT certainely LSSAH : collar patch without number and shoulder with a symbol which look like "LAH"(1st pic).

Re: SS raid in Vienna March 1938
Considering the black uniform men (out of the german which wore SD badge). They don't hold any collar badge of the SS just SS cap.
So I consider it's an auxilary police force ( hilfpolizei) known as "Polizei SS-Standarte Wien" set up at the Anschluss with members of the 89 SS-Standarte (Wien) with short life. The pic with SS-VT show light demonstration for use of guns.
On march 1938 in Vienna, there is a parade of Polizei SS-Standarte in 1938. This unit was never referenced nor in Polizei or Allgemeine-SS.
