Hello Phil, I've seen his party-number as 2.924.863 instead of 294.863

Thanks Phil, so you made a typing-error the first time since then you wrote: 294.863
This Walter Sommer was KIA on 30-01-1944.
Is he identical to the Walter Sommer who served with SS-Kavallerie-Division and who was promoted to SS-Ostuf on 30-01-1939??

There was another Walter Sommer born 5.1.1909 SS 11.9.1938 KIA 4.1940
I already had written that one down.

I've another Walter Sommer who was employed at Buchenwald. The internet says he was also SS-Ostuf but degraded in rank later on.
