Hi
I am looking for info on Erhard Guhrs who was an Obersturmführer in the 3rd bat of SS-Panzergrenadier- Rgt 2.
I have researched him up until 1944 when he was wounded in Normandy. Did Guhrs serve again or was he out of action for the remainder of the war, also is he still alive, any replies much appreciated PM me or reply on the post
Many thanks

In Italy Sept. 1943 Dinse took over his 14.kp. Gührs was given the command of 13.kp. After the news arrived that his two brothers were KIA - his was now the last still livin son - he was ordered by Rgt. to officer reserve. In May 1944 he was promoted to SS-Obersturmführer. As a Btl. adjutant he saw battle on the invasionfront. On August 7, 1944, he was badly wounded and was told that his left arm would have to be amputated. He was still in a Lazarett in May 45. He kept his arm though.
