Hello,

Can someone please tell me what country the two foreign officers might be from? I am not familiar with the uniforms they are wearing.

Best,

James

Yes, that's SS-Gruf.u.Gen.Lt.d.W-SS Kurt Knoblauch. The non-SS chaps are officials of the Norwegian equivalent of the RAD, the name of which escapes me.

Hi!

This is a very known photo in Norway and shows all the norwegian cadetts attending the 9. war-time course (1.2-31.7.43) and 1. course for germanic officers at Junkerschule Tölz. The photo has been taken during a visit from the norwegian general Fröhlich-Hansen and his adjutant. In the front row you can also find the norwegian SS-Ustuf Martin SKJEFSTAD who was a Dolmetscher and who graduated from the 8. war-time course at Tölz.

It is impossible to explain the picture here in this forum but nearly all have been identified.

regards

His full name apparently was Hallvard Paulsen Svelle.
And the following site, http://www.frontkjemper.info/show_person.php?P_ID=1011 , is giving his DoD as 30-9-2006.

Greetings, Mike
