This SS-Staf. is one of few officers who are still unidentified from Himmler's visit in Kraljevo, Oct. 1942. Based on the photo posted by Michal, looks very much like Broser (face, ribbon bars) - although he doesn't wear the EK ribbon. Any opinions?

...but I must admit I'm a bit confused - can a skinny person (as the one shown in the last two photos) look so chubby (as the one in 1st photo) just by making that sun-intolerant facial expression? I mean, the nose and the age match, we can see by the neck it's an older person, but the cheeks...? (note that the 1st and the last photo were taken the same year, there's only a 2-3 months difference) Michal, I hope you don't mind me asking: who identified the SS-Staf. on the photo you posted as Broser?

Getting back to my old question: IF the [still unsourced and thus unreliable] photo of a skinny-faced person posted by Michal 100% shows Broser, then I believe Kumm definitely made a mistake in identifying that chubby officer as him.

I'm still waiting to find out which is "One of archives in Prague" (sorry, this is not called crediting - but hiding a source) and how accurate it is.

In case Kumm made a mistake, I propose the idea that the person in Kumm's photo is in fact this unidentified bold SS-Hstuf. from the divisional staff, who was later transferred to V SS Geb.-Korps and promoted to SS-Stubaf. (currently posted for ID here)

Would you agree?

Can the photo of the skinny SS-Staf. finally be sourced (see AHF rules) and maybe even his identity confirmed?

It's been over a year since the photo had been posted, and it's still without a source.

Michal,

Is it possible to find out the source of the Broser photo now, almost three years after it was posted on the forum board and after three source requests?
