Early SS and Major a.D.

In a Führerliste of SA-Regiment München dated September 1923, I found the name of a certain ...rbert ... nglinger, Major a.D. and Ord.Offz. in the 1.Battalion of the Regiment.

Then, in a list of members of the Munich SS elaborated by the Polizeidirektion München in mid September 1930 I found the following hand-written entry:

I think the hand-written entry reads: "Hünglinger Herbert, Major a.D., 23.4.80 ?" (birthdate)

I guess it is the same man in both cases, but I have not found any more data about him. He is not listed in any of the post-1934 SS Dienstalterlisten, so he left the SS (dismissed, dead, expelled, ???) before the first DAL was issued. Does anybody have any information about this unknown Major a.D. and early member of the SS in Munich?
