Indeed a very interesting picture, showing Hst. Georg Kubisch, at the time (9.II.1935) "beauftragt mit der Führung" of the 4./SS1.
KIA 8.VI.1940 as Chef of the 14./SS-Standarte "Der Führer".

he received the rank in may 1935 and die 5 years after with the same rank, that´s was common?
