Unknown SS-officers (KL connection?)

here comes a photo of unidentified SS officers. The friend who sent it to me told me that there should be a KL connection and that possibly these people are camp physicians. He was also mentioning a possible connection with Ravensbrück. I did not recognise anybody so far and cannot add anything. Can you? Best Regards Tilman

The SS-Sturmbannführer on the left bears a remarkable resemblance to Max Pauly, the commandant of Neuengamme.

I think the man far right could be Richard Trommer....and next to him could be Walter Sonntag.

Hi Michal, thank you for your email.

This Trommer ID is very intersting because my friend was thinking the same; I did not write it on purpose in order not to lead anybody in a particular direction. Would you have a particular Trommer photo that you used for comparison?

Sonntag is also interesting and I see the similarities. Concerning him we could maybe ask the family because I have heard that the daughter and granddaughter of Dr. Walter Sonntag have also researched his SS-past. I might get in touch and ask them...

Any more findings or suggestions? Tilman

Hi Michal, thanks again, this is the photo that I also knew and which I used to try to identify Trommer on the photos of the Höcker Album. When I used this photo to compare with the original photo of this thread, I did not find too obvious similarities. Well....

But again, my friend was thinking same way you are... So you might be right... Best Regards Tilman

PS: Thank you to Max for his suggestion of Max Pauly. I also compared and found a resemblance. But I cannot comment much more. I will pass the info on to my friend and maybe he can follow up this possible identification.
