A SS-Sturmscharführer?
One of the German POW's from PAST-a building at Zielna 37 street, was SS-Sturmscharführer, who supposedly was terrorizing other defenders

Difficult to say.
Sturmscharführer had three squares in the shouder patches, to be compared only with Wehrmach's Generaloberst, or SS-Oberstgruppenführer.
SS-Sturmscharfürer was a very rare rank, demanding at least ten years of service.
Notable is the broad white line in the outer of the batches. I have a feeling that it was usually worn by SS-Fahnen- or SS- Oberfahnenjunkers.

Hope somebody knows - and sees the picture better, than I. :?

With best

P.S. Jesus, I still love this "milwink" -smilie.

My eyes are not as good as they were but I suspect SD Polizei type shoulderboards.

Apparently he was a SS Strumscharfuhrer-see the following photograph-shoulder insignia at the right
