Unfortunately I have not the answer but I´m very interested to know the statistics of this EK6, between those months... were operatives? when Suhr received the EK6 in August 43, what are the results in this three months?

Thanks in advance,

Phil,
What is your source for this please? I ask because all my sources state Biberstein relinquished command of EK6 in May 1943. I was under the impression that the EK was under temporary command from May until August 1943. If you have a reliable source which states otherwise, I'd appreciate knowing it please. Many thanks,
Max.

Ah, that's a pity. Unfortunately, as you quite rightly say, Jost Schneider was not a reliable source. Therefore, I think this question remains unresolved.
Thanks,
Max.

Following from Biberstein's SS-Officer file:

14 July 1942 Stapoleiter Oppeln when posted to EG C/EK 6 by “Erlass des RSHA v. 14.7.42 – I A 8275/42 b”
March 1943 met with SS-Stubaf Blunck in Stalino and verbally told to transfer his Kmdo – Biberstein delayed this
transfer
23 May 1943 EKführer in Taganrog when received two FS from the BdS Kiew to quickly transfer the Kommando to
Rowno
26 May 1943 Biberstein arrived in a huff in Kiew to talk with SS-Gruf. Thomas but had to make do with a meeting
with the Leiter IIA (Gottwald) to discuss what was to happen about the local Taganrog Volksdeutsche
problems re their withdrawal
31 May 1943 returned from Kiew to Taganrog
2 June 1943 with KdS Dnjepropetrowsk about his Volksdeutsche problem
3 June 1943 with Transportkommandeur Stalino about the Kmdo transfer which took place on 16 June 1943
19 June 1943 report of the BdS Untersuchungsführer Hülf, from Kiew, as Thomas had instituted proceedings against
Biberstein for disobeying his orders sent by FS on 23 May 1943.

Biberstein remained in command of EK 6 until at least mid June 1943 and probably after the Kommando transferred west.

In "Die Einsatzgruppen in der besetzten Sowjetunion 1941/42. Die Tätigkeits- und Lageberichte des Chefs der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD" (ed. Peter Klein), publ. Gedenk- und Bildungsstätte Haus der Wannsee-Konference, Band 6, 1997, p.84
commanders, EK 6
Erhard Kroeger (June-October 1941)
Robert Mohr (begin October 1941-mid September 1942)
Ernst Biberstein (from mid September 1942)
Friedrich Suhr (August-November 1943)

In Helmut Krausnick/Hans-Heinrich Wilhelm, "Die Truppe des Weltanschauungskrieges. Der Einsatzgruppen der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD 1938-1942", DVA Stuttgart, 1981, p.646
commanders, EK 6
Erhard Kroeger (to November 1941)
Robert Mohr (begin November 1941-mid September 1942)
Ernst Biberstein (posted in June 1942, commander mid September 1942-May (?) 1943)
Friedrich Suhr (August-November 1943)

Slight differences in timings that will be difficult to fully resolve.

Thanks, Steve, for that very interesting information. I suppose this question will be one of those anomolies where the answer has been lost in time.
Max.
