Paul Barnekow

Does anyone have a full biography of this officer, please? I have his date of birth, birthplace, SS and NSDAP numbers, as well as the following:

Oct 1934: SS-Standarte 74
March 1935: I. /"Germania" (presumably Bataillonsingenieur?)
December 1938: "Germania" (presumably Regimentsingenieur?)
January 1942: "Deutschland" (definitely Regimentsingenieur)
January 1944: Divisionsingenieur and CO SS-Instandsetzungs-Abt. 6 - SS-Division "Nord"
July and October 1944: VII. SS-Panzer-Korps

A couple of further points. In "Kampf unter dem Nordlicht", it states that he left "Nord" in December 1943 to join the III. (germanisches) SS-Panzer-Korps. Surely this was not the case? Furthermore, the VII. SS-Panzer-Korps was "absorbed" by the IV. SS-Panzer-Korps in June/July 1944, so presumably he was appointed Korpsingenieur for both Korps units? Was he still with that unit at the end of the war, and did he survive the war? Any information would be gratefully received. Thanks.
