Do you know this SS-Standartenführer? He has some resemblance to Gauleiter Friedrich Hildebrandt...any help is welcome.

Yes.
I think our "unknown Oberführer" in the middle may well be a member of the Marine SA...
I have carefully look at my archives. None of SS-Oberführers who served in these places in this time not look like him.
This photo was probably made in Bremen, brown SA, but not black SS tie ...
In addition, very similar to what he holds in his hands cap with SA-Marine cockade.
Why not?
