Please can anybody help me with details of 2 different men who had the same name

SS-Ustuf Friedrich Lorenz (born 25 Feb 1901) he served with the SD.

SS-Ustuf Dr. Friedrich Lorenz (born 11 Dec 1910 Emmersdorf) later SS-Hstuf on 3 Feb 1942 (Polizei)
