2) Who was the Oberst der Schutzpolizei in Stuttgart in December 1941 that signed documents on behalf of the Befehlshaber der Ordnungspolizei in the office of the HSSPF Wehrkreis V und beim Chef der Zivilverwaltung im Elsass? (His name may have begun with a "W".)
Any help appreciated.

Andreas,
Sorry for the delay, and before my thread gets hijacked by a totally unconnected question, here is the signature. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Polizei questions
Brilliant! Thank you Georges. Do you have any bio information on him please?
Max.
P.S. I cannot find a Gerhard Wieder, but I can find Georg Wieder who became commander of Schutzpolizei in Stuttgart and was possibly a Generalmajor der Polizei at the end of the war. Could it be him?
