SS-Standarte 103 *SS-Stubaf Karl Belgarth Hstuf d.R. Not correct. Karl Bergrath was CO 1-7-39/??-12-39 and ??-40/??-43. SS-Ostubaf Paul Illing was CO from ??-43 till 5-45
SS-Standarte 107 SS-Staf Emmanuel Sladek ? Correct
SS-Abschnitt XXXVII SS-Stubaf Johann Burkhart ? Correct, he was CO till ??-12-44
SS-Standarte 95 SS-Staf Karl Bürger ? Correct, although I think it's Burger and not Bürger

I checked all entries with Dienstalterlisten der SS der NSDAP

- Illing not CO on november 1944. bergrath was listed in october 42 and october 1944
- Hans Stange is not listed in DAL 1 october 1942 as well october 1944 ?
- Johann Burkhart is not listed in DAL october 1942 as well october 1944 ?
- Karl Bürger correct on 1942 but in october 1944 he was F. 70. Sta.

Hello Georges,

Nice compilation, especially the breakdown of the SS-Standarten. It would be nice if someone was to write a book just about the SS-Fuß-Standarten including their Sturmbann lists and Führer. I always wondered what the wartime numbers of the Standarten actually were with most of the men at the front and only the older reserves preserving the Standarte themselves.

Phil go ahead, an excellent idea, I'm sure it will be appreciated. I'm also pretty sure some of the information has already previously been posted some time ago for the lower numbered SS-Abschnitte but I can't find the link to re-post here.

I'm not sure just what your'e asking about in filling in the gap?
According to my files (which could be incorrect) some of the SS-Abschnitte & SS-Standarten you mention here were never in SS-Oberabschnitt Böhmen u. Mähren. They were certainly part of the old Czechoslovakia pre 1938, but the Sudetenland was annexed away from Böhmen u. Mähren into the Reich?

I have this list, any corrections welcome, especially in any jurisdictional changes that occurred.

Standarte 102 and 104 came under SS-Abschnitt XXIV
Standarte 98 came under Abschnitt IV
Standarte 95 came under Abschnitt XXI

My main interrogation is for these 4 SS foot regiments. They are in DAL late 44 attached to the new SS-Oa Böhmen und Mähren.
So we can consider they all move from their former abschnitt to join Abschnitt XXXVII, XXXVIII or XXXIX .

But no infos on new organisation. Any idea ?

SS NCO on the far right belongs to 108. SS-Standarte, according to CTK archives. Btw is it just me or anyone else thinks too, that this man has his "V" insignia little bit lower than it was supposed to be placed?
